BREATHTAKING VIEWS AND LIDL MY NEEDLE

HEY everyone!! so our last few days have been amazing!! started with a 7am ferry ride to santorini (VIP) lol the only seats left! it was ok but only took 5 hrs which was great!! we got to the hostel at about 1pm and it is absolutly BEAUTIFUL! we have a pool and a little balcony and its in a nice area! We layed by the pool yesterday for an hour and GOT BURNT! haha soo so hot here but theres a constant breeze so its a really comfortable hot! but u get burnt easy! (more on that later!) we went out for an authentic greek dinner! and i mean authentic we had white wine ( well i did) han was still a little turned off from the night before !! haha then we had the best greek salad and tzatiki! it was sooo delicious....and the main course..FISH HEADS! (when they said mixed fish we had no idea they meant actual real mixed fish. SO GROSS!!!!!! i still ate it (well han ate more) haha BUT I TRIED! i dont know if that or the meal we had in athens ( pork and lamb in the shape of poo) was worse! haahhaha

TODAY, we had our first full day in santorini! we were up at 6am of course! lil more drama as we didnt bring id so we had to get them sent so we could rent our quad! but mom pulled through and we rented it at 9am! we had breakfast at home and made lunch and headed out to the beach! driving here isnt as scary as u think! really funn actually!! we went down to the most beautiful beach ever!!! ( one of the reasons for the name of the blog!) it was amazing the bluest water right by huge mountains it was just unbelievable! wish i could post pics!! we met a nice guy down at the beach from tronto and hes gonna come out with us tonite!!

Then riding home i saw a wine musuem!! WELL u know I HAD to stop and go in! so we went and did this great tour about how they made wine in santorini in the 1800's it was soo interesting and they had great exibits! and of course the wine tasting at the end wasnt to bad ;) such a beautiful place...cant wait to go back! and i will be back!! (han is determined to marry there!!) :D

Then we rode back into town, grabbed some grocerys for tomorrows journey! and thennn we realized just how burnt we were!!!! ahahahah omg we wore suncreen but not so much on the back and the legss!! needless to say im a lobster and even the asian is burnt!!! ahahhahaha wish us luck in the sun all day tomorrow! we are going on a day trip around santorini!! volcanos and hot spings and a famous sun set in ios!! CANT WAIT

OH theres more! we just had the most amazing dinner at a mexican resteraunt! i know mexican in greece...but if u saw the view we had from our table!! it was breathtaking! really good food as well! but couldnt stay too long we.re on the way home to drink b4 the bar to save money!! lol whichhh is where LIDL comes in!! hahahah i couldnt remember how to pernounce it so ive come up with lidl my needle lol because it ryhmes so i can remember haha and now thats where han and i shop..lidl my needle. :D

so now we.re off to get ready have a few bevys and then go meet some people ( our waitress from the mexian resteraunt is coming out tonight too!) we will be safe!!!!!!

Eastside of ATHENS :S

Banana: Hey guys so we are in athens for two nights and lets just say you could call the area that were in is compared to East end of Vancouver so very scary lol.. But for some reason Shannon and I had the best sleep their since we have arrived in Europe lol... We went to bed at 6:45pm Greece time as we were on 3hours of sleep from the night before lol.. But we did get 12hours of much needed sleep lol.. So we did meet some people but they were total creepers and we got asked to go to a skin head party with some Finn guy lol and then when we arrived in Athens at an internet cafe a older guy from Toronto Originally asked us out for coffee at some beach lol... We tried to get out of that as soon as possible... But i guess it makes for a great story.

Then today we were up at 6am and got ready had breakfast at a little cafe in the morning and then off to the Parthenon and Acropolis what an amazing view and breath taking... There are no words to describe what we have seen! Hopefully soon we will be able to up load some pictures for you to see for yourselves. This evening we will be having a really Greek authentic meal and then heading to some clubs for a little fun or just a drink...

Now tomorrow bright and early we are making our first stop in Santorini for 4 nights,which will be a very long 8hour ferry ride and we all know that the Greek work on their own time so who knows when we will actually make it their lol...

LONDON- TOURIST DAY!

HEYY EVERYONE!
Welll today was eventful!! we started at 5am (couldnt sleep!) had breakfast at the hotel and then got on the train to london! we went to buckingham palace first thing in the morning! so beautiful! so hard to explain with out being able to take pictures!! hyde park is also gorgeous ( although wouldve been GREAT if it wasnt pouring rain and cold here!! dammit ! we then went to the british musuem! reallyy reallly big. really nice..buttt lets be honest kinda boring! haha thenn i dragged hanas ass to KINGS CROSS! (she was a good sport):) and yes i got my pictures with platform 9 3/4!!!! it was sooo cool! hahaha loved it! than we took the tube home!! SO much faster!! and now we're off for dinner and wine! (shocking) then an early night again! (the last for a while dad ;) haha) off to GREECE at 6am tomrorow!! cant wait!! SUN AND BEACHES YES! although we loved london we are quite excited for warm weather! miss u all! love u guys!

Banana: So we have arrived in London with very little sleep and have done alot of walking today! Did a bit of sight seeing but we are calling it an early night as we are lacking SLEEP!!! Just had our first dinner in London and a pint and now off to bed! ttys

Sooo.... Just to let everyone know we start our adventure on July 25th,flying to London and then off to Greece for the month of August. We are starting to count down the days now woot woot only 15 days heheheheh.Thank you for all of your support.
